The gas meter specifications and models generally refer to the nominal flow rate (m³/h) of the gas meter, such as G1.6, G2.5, G4, etc. When we choose the gas meter with the corresponding flow rate, the maximum flow rate of the gas meter is used as a reference index, and the gas load cannot exceed the maximum flow value (instantaneous flow rate) specified by the meter. Those exceeding G4 are industrial and commercial gas meters (G6-G100).

Introduction to the models and specifications of residential gas meters

Gas meter manufacturers produce gas meters with different capacities and specifications according to various requirements of users. Generally speaking, residential gas meters are divided into three specifications, namely G1.6, G2.5, and G4.
