Description:

Answer:

If natural gas leaks occur, do not use open fire. Natural gas can easily mix with air to form an explosive mixture with an explosion limit of 5% to 15%. When a natural gas leak occurs, because it is lighter than air, it will quickly gather in the upper part of the room. At this time, we must first eliminate all fires, quickly close the pipe shutter, then open the doors and windows, and use fans and other items to fan the natural gas floating in the upper part of the kitchen, but do not open the exhaust fan and hood, because it is easy to have an electric fire and an explosion. Then you must notify the gas company's service personnel to come and deal with it.

When coal gas leaks occur, it will give off rotten egg odor. Because its specific gravity and characteristics are largely similar to those of natural gas, the same approach should be taken as for natural gas leaks. The difference is that coal gas is toxic, and when a person inhales 7% of carbon monoxide, he or she will experience symptoms of poisoning and even death. Therefore, when coal gas leaks occur, be sure to wear a gas mask before entering the area where the gas leak is running. If you do not have a gas mask, you should also use a wet towel to wrap your mouth or hold your breath, and evacuate the scene immediately after taking rapid measures.

LPG is the most dangerous when it leaks. Because it is liquid in the cylinder, it will immediately expand 250 times after it flows out. And because it is characterized by the specific gravity, and is not upward floating, but sinking to the ground, gathered in low-lying areas, not easy to float and low limit of explosion. Therefore, after eliminating all fires, close cylinder valves, open doors and windows, sweep the ground with a broom to drive out the leaking LPG to prevent the fire from exploding.
